"Teaching Nature Awareness and Stewardship"

Nature Awareness Workshop

 
A nature awareness and stewardship workshop was provided at Philmont Scout Ranch near Cimarron New Mexico.  The workshop staff included volunteer Leave No Trace Master Educators and Tread Lightly! Master Tread Trainers from around the country. They taught approximately 325 Philmont youth staff members. Philmont staff will teach nature awareness and stewardship to approximately 23,000 participants during the 2007 summer.
